Our Campus

Located in the heart of Bwejuu village on the southeast coast of Zanzibar, Bwejuu Charity School sits along the main road that leads to several of the island’s five-star resorts. With its striking long orange boundary wall, the school is easy to spot—standing as a proud symbol of learning, community, and growth.

Our campus has evolved from modest beginnings into a welcoming and functional learning environment, serving students from pre-primary through to Form Six. The campus includes several purpose-built facilities:

In 2025,

we began developing a dedicated science lab for our new Form 5 and 6 students, marking a significant milestone in expanding into advanced secondary education. Plans are also underway for a basketball and multipurpose sports court, enhancing our co-curricular and physical education offerings.

Set against the backdrop of Bwejuu’s coastal beauty, our campus fosters a peaceful, inclusive, and inspiring environment for students to learn, grow, and dream big.

Our Facilities

The Main Building:

This houses secondary classrooms, the administration office, boys' boarding area, dining hall, and teachers’ accommodation.

The Original Building:

Still active today, this space is dedicated to primary-level classes.

Pre-Primary Block:

A separate, nurturing environment tailored for our youngest learners.

Girls’ Boarding House:

A secure facility with additional classrooms on the lower level.

Library & Computer Lab:

Located in a small building that also includes the accounts office, supporting both academic and administrative functions.

Canteen:

A small canteen greets visitors at the school’s entrance, serving snacks for students and staff.
